Testing for College Students
Testing is a big part of many students’ lives, and CAPS is here to support your testing success. We offer a variety of services around testing, including text anxiety counseling and proctoring for various exams.

Learning Disabilities Assessment

Test Anxiety Counseling
Test anxiety is very normal, and many students experience it during their time in college. If you would like help understanding and coping with your anxiety, counseling is available through Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS).
TEAS Nursing Test
Testing Services offers the TEAS (Testing of Essential Academic Skills) nursing exam on the Pullman campus on Wednesday mornings.

Register
Testing Services offers the TEAS exam on the Pullman campus on Wednesday mornings. To reserve a time to take the exam, please schedule your proctored TEAS exam online.
The total test fee is $110:
- $40 billed to your student account or payable to “WSU Controller” by check or money order.
- $70 paid to ATI by credit card on the day of the exam.

Test Preparation
To avoid any conflicts of interest, Testing Services does not offer test preparation services. You can access test preparation materials on the ATI website.

Washington Educators Skills Test (WEST)
Testing Services offers the Washington Educator Skills Test (WEST) and other National Evaluation Series (NES) exams most weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The WEST is required for all prospective teachers in Washington State and WSU’s teacher preparation program.

All test registration and scheduling for exams is done online through the WEST website. Please note that WEST subject tests are only offered as computer-based tests; paper and pencil tests are no longer offered.

To register for an exam, test takers must have a:
- Valid email address
- Current government-issued photo ID
- Debit card or credit card
