The Gender Affirming Healthcare Symposium aims to help educate healthcare providers about transgender and/or non-binary patients. For those who identify as transgender and/or non-binary, the Symposium aims to demonstrate how to navigate the healthcare system.

Dr. Jaime Bowman is a medical educator and physician who currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine in Spokane, Washington. She is committed to LGBTQ+ affirming healthcare and recently presented on "Using Gender Affirmative Care to Teach Cultural Sensitivity and Vulnerability."
