Welcome to the Gender Identity/Expression and Sexual Orientation Resource Center

Each time I see the zipper pull—on hoodies, on backpacks, on key rings--I'm reminded that making the world a safer, more compassionate, brighter place for everyone can't wait. We have the power to make life better (or worse) for one another in so many ways. Individually and together, we can interrupt behavior and systems that hurt, exclude, and diminish. We can celebrate the extraordinary people around us for all their quirky, unexpected, joyful gifts and talents, for who they really are.
The glbtq community enfolds many identities; we reach across many boundaries. Even though there is still a long road ahead, we have travelled a long way in the last 40 years. And as we've travelled, we've learned a tremendous amount about building coalitions, sharing burdens, and transforming the world—fabulously. We have a unique contribution to make to a better world.
Washington State University, our community, our home, is a place set aside for learning and practicing and growing. Let's make it the best place it can be for everyone, and let's start now.
Visit us in the CUB 401, from 8:00 – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Or check the calendar for special events.
